European Heritage Label: Commission publishes €3 million call for a single “umbrella organisation”

To support the growth of the European Heritage Label (EHL), the European Commission has published a call for the creation of a single “umbrella organisation” in 2023.

The new umbrella organisation for the European Heritage Label will ensure networking, collaboration, training and opportunities among EHL stakeholders.

In particular, it will work to

  • develop synergies between EHL sites, national coordinators and active players in the cultural heritage sector
  • build the capacity of EHL sites and national coordinators
  • help communicate and promote the EHL and the activities of EHL sites more broadly

The project will start in March 2023 and last until July 2026.

How to apply

The call has a budget of €3,000,000 and will fund

  • either a single project proposed by a single organisation
  • or a consortium of organisations working to implement all three objectives of this call

Organisations from all Creative Europe participating countries can apply, but only activities organised in the 27 EU Member States are eligible.

The deadline for applications is 5 October 2022.
