Expert group on cultural heritage

The European Commission’s informal expert group on cultural heritage was set up in 2019 to maintain the unique multi-stakeholder cooperation and policy dialogue achieved during the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.

The objective of the expert group is to promote public policies that ensure the long-term value and sustainability of Europe's cultural heritage based on an integrated approach. The experts provide advice and expertise to the Commission, and serve as a platform for consultation and exchange of information on cultural heritage policies to support the implementation of the European Framework for Action for Cultural Heritage.
