The conference is held in the context of the study on the discoverability of diverse European content in the digital environment. The study published on 8 April was carried out by the Panteia consortium for the European Commission.

 

About the study

The study focuses primarily on the music and books sectors, while also addressing developments in the visual arts, cultural heritage and performing arts sectors. 

It examines how people discover cultural content online and how platform practices such as algorithmic recommendations, content prioritisation and curation influence exposure to Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity.
