Commission is looking for a partner to organise a learning project on architecture

The European Commission published a call for tenders to set up a peer-learning scheme for cities and regions on high quality architecture and the built environment.

The selected applicant will organise a peer learning action to help local authorities to integrate and implement quality principles in the built environment in close coordination with the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.

This project is based on the Davos Baukultur Quality System and the report Towards a shared culture of architecture – Investing in a high-quality living environment for everyone, published in 2021.

The Commission announced this scheme in the Communication on the New European Bauhaus. Moreover, the Council invited the Commission to provide opportunities for research, capacity building and peer learning in this area in its Conclusions on culture, high-quality architecture and built environment as key elements of the New European Bauhaus initiative.

The deadline for submission of offers is January 30 2023.
