Music Moves Europe Awards 2026 nominees announced

The names of the nominees for the Music Moves Europe Awards 2026 are now out. Music fans across Europe are invited to vote for their favourite artist.

On 16 October, the following 15 artists have been nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards 2026 at the SoAlive Music Conference in Sofia, Bulgaria:

  • Carpetman, Ukraine
  • Della, Cyprus
  • Ditter, France
  • Fine, Denmark
  • Florence Road, Ireland
  • Glazyhaze, Italy
  • Lia Kali, Spain
  • Lunikk, Bulgaria
  • Melina, Greece
  • Might Delete Later, Latvia
  • Ray Lozano, Germany
  • Sarah Julia, Netherlands
  • Sofie Royer, Austria

Europe’s sound is bold, diverse and full of creativity, and the Music Moves Europe Awards celebrate exactly that. These 15 nominees represent the exceptional artists shaping the future of our continent’s music. Congratulations! I’m proud that our Creative Europe programme supports initiatives like this, giving talented artists the visibility and recognition they deserve. It’s especially exciting that Sofia and the SoAlive Music Conference are hosting this year’s announcement, uniting Europe’s regional talent with the global music community

Awards ceremony and prizes

Out of the 15 nominees, an international jury will select five artists to win the Music Moves Europe (MME) Awards and one special artist to win the Grand Jury Prize.

The names of the winners will be revealed at the Music Moves Europe Awards ceremony on 16 January, 2026 at Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival in Groningen (ESNS), the Netherlands.

Each winner will receive €10 000. The winner of the Grand Jury Award will receive an additional green touring voucher worth €5 000. The winner of the Public Choice Award 2024 will receive €5 000.

All 15 nominees are invited to play at ESNS and to join the MME education programme, which includes best practices in the music industry. This is organised by ESNS and the partners of the MME Awards: Liveurope, Yourope, Live DMA, IMPALA, Digital Music Europe, ICMP-CIEM, International Music Managers Forum (IMMF) and European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE).
