Music Moves Europe Talent Awards 2020: here are the nominees
On 20 September, the nominees for the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards 2020 were announced at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. This annual EU prize for popular and contemporary music celebrates emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow.
The sixteen outstanding artists nominated for the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards 2020 - co-funded by the Creative Europe programme - are:

- Anna Leone (Sweden)
- AU/RA (Germany)
- Beast in Black (Finland)
- Charlotte Adigéry (Belgium)
- Flohio (United Kingdom)
- Fontaines D.C. (Ireland)
- Girl in red (Norway)
- Harmed (Hungary)
- Hugo Helmig (Denmark)
- Kimberose (France)
- Meduza (Italy)
- Naaz (Netherlands)
- Perfect Son (Poland)
- Pongo (Portugal)
- Tribade (Spain)
An international jury will select eight winners from this list of nominees. At the same time, music fans across Europe will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artist, who will receive the Public Choice Award. You can cast your vote on the Music Moves Europe Website.
The winners will only be revealed during the big Award Ceremony on 17 January 2020 at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Groningen, The Netherlands. Each winner will receive a prize worth € 10,000 which they can spend on the promotion of their international careers. Moreover, the winner of the Public Choice Award 2020 will also receive a prize of €5,000.
This is the second edition of the EU prize for popular and contemporary music, which wants to put a spotlight on upcoming young European music talents and to support their international career. The Music Moves Europe Talent Awards highlight Europe’s vibrant and diverse music scene and make you discover promising artists from other European countries.
