After the publication of the call for proposals, a new consortium has been selected to implement the next phase of Perform Europe, the EU’s scheme that supports touring models in performing arts.

Supporting at least 25 projects over two years

Building on the achievements of the first two phases of Perform Europe, this new phase will identify, and support touring and distribution of at least 25 artistic projects funded through ‘cascading grants’ over the next 24 months. Perform Europe III will receive a grant of €2 million from the Creative Europe programme - Cultural strand.

This funding will enable the projects to engage their audiences through more inclusive and sustainable dissemination methods, benefitting from financial assistance, training and peer-to-peer learning. A digital platform will centralise and promote the supported projects, while also serving as a networking and matchmaking tool.

The objectives of this phase of the scheme are to reduce environmental impact, strengthen fair working conditions, and enhance access for a diversity of audiences.

A new consortium to implement Perform Europe III

Perform Europe III will be carried out by a consortium of partners:

• IETM – the International network for contemporary performing arts
• European Festivals Association (EFA)
• Circostrada
• European Dance Development Network (EDN)
• Pearle * - Live Performance Europe
• IDEA Consult

Together, they cover the full range of performing arts sector and actively engage a wide spectrum of professionals – from independent artists and cultural professionals, from small organisations to major cultural operators – covering diverse audiences across Europe.
