European Commission seeks partner to run structured dialogue on cultural policy
The European Commission is looking for an organisation that will run the new structured dialogue on cultural policy from 2025 to 2028. Apply before 6 September.
The European Commission has published a call for tenders for a new structured dialogue with civil society on cultural policy covering the period from 2025 to 2028.
The successful tenderer will organise the dialogue on behalf of the Commission, on topical issues for the EU’s cultural policy agenda. In consultation with the Commission, it will design the dialogue process and organise the various meetings. These meetings include the selection and invitations of tenderers and preparation of high-quality meeting documents.
The deadline for applications is 6 September 2024.
About the structured dialogue
The structured dialogue aims to foster regular and structured exchanges between the European Commission and relevant cultural and creative stakeholders. This
- ensures that diverse voices within those sectors are heard
- develops a common understanding of matters important to them
Ultimately, this dialogue is intended to provide significant insights and recommendations to the Commission, thereby contributing to policy development processes and supporting the cultural sector in adapting to new challenges.
This new structured dialogue follows previous dialogue processes, such as the Voices of Culture civil society dialogue.
The new dialogue will address a variety of themes and priorities between 2025 and 2028, through annual collaborative roundtables as well as more targeted discussions within thematic engagement sessions.
It will also ensure that grassroots-level views are included. This will be facilitated by using consultative surveying methods which can inform the stakeholder discussions.
