New Creative Europe call: €3 million on support for the performing arts sector
The European Commission is looking for an organisation to implement a 3 year-long project worth €3 million to support artists in theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts and puppetry.
This new Perform Europe call is part of the EU’s response to the fact that the performing arts sector has been among the worst hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. It will support the cross-border touring and digital distribution of performing arts works, in a sustainable, inclusive, fair and innovative way.
Applicants will have to anticipate the following cross-cutting issues: inclusion, diversity, gender equality, the environment and the fight against climate change.
The aim of this call is to support the performing arts and the following sub-sectors: theatre, dance, performance, circus, outdoor arts and puppetry.
The budget of €3 million and the funding rate is 90%.
The European Commission will select 1 organisation or a consortium of partner organisations through this call, to implement a 36 month-long project in participating countries of the Creative Europe programme.
