Culture Moves Europe Launch Event

Kick-starting Culture Moves Europe, the mobility scheme of Creative Europe.

On 10 October 2022, Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, kicked-off Culture Moves Europe in the presence of representatives of the cultural and creative sectors to celebrate the new mobility scheme and highlight its main objectives.

The event featured a discussion on the topic of supporting the mobility of emerging artists with representatives of EU institutions and the cultural sector and Johannes Ebert, Secretary General of Goethe-Institut.

About Culture Moves Europe

The European Commission launches Culture Moves Europe in 2022 as its new mobility action for artists and cultural professionals, as permanent part of the Creative Europe Programme.

Implemented by the Goethe Institut Brussels this scheme offers grants to artists, cultural professionals and host organisations in all Creative Europe countries.
The scheme is available to those who are active in the sectors of

  • performing arts
