This funding opportunity supports small, medium and large-scale cooperation projects across different sectors. For example, for the cultural heritage sector in 2021 calls, this action aimed at supporting cultural heritage professionals with a range of activities. These included audience relationship development (considering technological and digital methods of content creation and presentation of archived content, also drawing lessons from the Covid-19 lockdown), the digitisation of cultural heritage materials, sites and historical buildings including the use of 3D and AI technologies. The funding opportunity in 2021 also addressed risk management for cultural heritage – with a focus on prevention and risk management in relation to hazards (e.g. climate change adaptation and mitigation), reflecting the principles of the European Green Deal.
For small-scale cooperation projects, a consortium needs to have a minimum of 3 partners from 3 different eligible countries. Grant size of up to € 200 000. The maximum EU funding rate is set to 80%.
For medium-scale cooperation projects, proposals must be submitted by a consortium with a minimum of 5 partners from 5 different eligible countries. Grant size of up to €1 million. The maximum EU funding rate is set to maximum 70%
For large-scale cooperation projects, proposals must be submitted by a consortium with a minimum of 10 partners from 10 different eligible countries. Grant size of up to € 2 million. The maximum EU funding rate is set to 60%.
