Culture Moves Europe, is the new permanent mobility scheme funded by the Creative Europe Programme. It aims to foster sustainable and inclusive mobility in the cultural sector and will give particular attention to emerging artists. The scheme follows the successful I-Portunus pilot project and will award around 7000 mobility grants between October 2022 and June 2025.
Projects promote mobility activities for:
- Learners: pupils, students, trainees, apprentices, young people, adult learners;
- Staff: professors, teachers, trainers, youth workers, and people working in organisations active in the education, training and youth fields;
Projects mainly aim to support learners in the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes, including language competences.

For example, for the books and publishing sector in 2021 calls, this action aimed at supporting book sector professionals in the sales of translation or adaptation rights to increase the circulation of European literary works, and in particular works written in lesser-used languages, in Europe and beyond.

For example, for the cultural heritage sector in 2021 calls, this action aimed at supporting cultural heritage professionals with a range of activities. These included audience relationship development (considering technological and digital methods of content creation and presentation of archived content, also drawing lessons from the Covid-19 lockdown), the digitisation of cultural heritage materials, sites and historical buildings including the use of 3D and AI technologies.

For example, for the music sector in 2021 calls, this action aimed at supporting music professionals with a range of activities. These included music creation, promotion, distribution and income generation, responding to new digital, legal and technical trends arising from innovations in the sector and new business models, export of music outside of the EU, and distribution of music across EU borders.
This funding opportunity supports small, medium and large-scale cooperation projects, across different sectors. For example, for the architecture sector in 2021 calls, this action set out to support European architects with a range of activities. These included communication, co-creation and the involvement of citizens and stakeholders in design, planning and building processes, the integration of European Green Deal (in particular the incorporation of New European Bauhaus principles in their practices) and the internationalisation of careers across and outside of Europe.
This funding opportunity supports projects within the cultural and creative sectors. A broad range of activities and initiatives, and a wide range of applicants can be supported. Support is for projects involving transnational cultural cooperation, and which contribute to strengthening the creation and circulation of European artworks and artists transnationally. There is also a focus on funding projects which support the European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talent to innovate, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth.

The main premise of this call is that a joint approach of the digital with the arts will help induce changes in our mind-sets, at business, societal and individual level regarding water management and help communicate differently about water to raise public awareness on the importance of water, for example by using art and digital to reinforce emotional links of humans with water. |

It aims to promote co-writing practices, thereby also enlarging the experience of creative talents working on fiction series. |
FARNET is the community of people implementing Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF). This community brings together Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs), managing authorities, citizens and experts from across the EU, to work on the sustainable development of fisheries and coastal areas. In the past, projects related to arts and crafts, as well as cultural heritage have often been supported by this initiative.
