Underthe motto “Culture for co-existence”, the Donostia-San Sebastián 2016 programme promoted better ways of living together through art and culture. 

The motto for Wrocław 2016 was “Spaces of beauty”, based on the ideas of metamorphosis and diversity, drawing from the city’s unique history of transformation.
